J (I'll call him "J" for now until I get his permission to call him by his first name on the blog... for privacy reasons...) asked me today what was the most valuable thing is in this life (besides making a living in order to eat). So, I'd like to ask everyone here the same question. What is the most valuable thing in life?

To awaken fully and realize who you are beyond name and form. All else flows from that.
Now.
Everything else is imagination.

jb, sounds good to me. :)
Let me think about it.
be now,
What happened to your picture? It is so dark. :(
Karl,
You are one in a million. ;)
Life!
Thom,
*hug* Thank you so much. :)
Yes, I'd say your mind is truly valuable! I happen to like it, too.
castor,
Don't think too hard. :)
Pollux,
I'd say life is pretty valuable!
I don't know how many times I've said it Stacey, but DAMN, your fractals are something special. I also stick 'em on my desktop to remind me how there's more to life than file management. I will say it one more time and then I'll shut up: do an animated one! Blow our minds all the way through, once and for all, with an animated fractal. But don't hurry. Just do it, someday, for all of us.

Sorry about the dark photo Stacey.
I thought that for winter I should have a winter leaf. I did not intend for it to come out so dark but when I saw the photo I thought that is was an appropriate way to acknowledge winter(both as a season and as a spirtual condition).
Anyway spring will be here very soon and then I will find a fresh green Maple leaf and start to use it. The green will be even more beautiful after the darkness.
That's an easy question. The most valuable thing in life, is going beyond death. Otherwise death is eternal, all that you think, say, do or are, being rendered nothingness.
Be Now,
You're right - for the season is it very fitting. I see where you're coming now. This time of year makes me feel dark and gloomy sometimes.
I think it's only 36 days left until spring, then let the sun shine and cheer us all up!
Guru Kurt,
That is surely something to pay attention to. I'd hate to think that all I've done or thought in this lifetime will end-up one day in nothingness.
I have hope that there is something beyond death. I'm not sure what, but there's the hope. After all, it can't all be in vain, can it?
