Bring on the New Year!

Hi Folks,

In 30 minutes, it will be 2006 for me! (It may have already happened for you, depending on where you live.) I don't know what my New Year's resolutions are yet. I don't know... work out more maybe... finish things I've started (which includes several books I have started but not finished), DIET!!!, do laundry more often instead of letting it pile-up, be more organized... I think there are lots of things about myself that I can change. I know I really need to stay in better touch with my friends. Friends are really important to me. I really could have done more for this blog. I've let it go the past month. We've had such a nice group of friendship here, and I've let it slide. My New Year's resolution (or at least one of them), is to start a forum on this blog so that anyone can talk whenever they want to about almost anything! (Excuse the excess of cheer.... I've had more than my fair share of raspberry Belgian beer. :)

This will be short for now, but I didn't want to let the new year come without my message going out to you all. May you all have a wonderful new year!

I love you guys!

Sweet Stacey,
Please don't be hard on yourself.
From your writings I really feel that I know you so well. You are as natural as a fresh and tender leaf. You'll make your life harder if you try to be a fake plastic leaf.
Resolutions are meant to be broken

For a true and natural Stacey
Happy new year!
You already seem to have the things I want to wish for you. I wish what you'd wish for yourself Stacey! spread your charm.

Perhaps love
Is the energy
Of constructive becoming
Which stimulates the universe
To express itself coherently.

Perhaps love
Is the chap behind you
In the fish shop.

Perhaps love
Is what you feel
When you tie two ends
Of a piece of string together
But don't have to.

Perhaps love
Is all there is
But we haven't
Realised it yet.

Wishing everyone here the best for the coming year!

Message From The Hopi Elders

You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.

Here are the things that must be considered:

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know our garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.

This could be a good time!

There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel like they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.

Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off toward the middle of
the river,
keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.

See who is there with you and celebrate.

At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all
ourselves!
For the moment we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.

The time of the lonely wolf is over.
Gather yourselves!

Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.

All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we have been waiting for.

Hello Stacey,

A wonderful New Year to you too.

Thanks for the reminder about the laundry. I have a big pile right now and plenty of time to do it. I think I will get started right now. :)

The Old Tree Verse
To S T A C
the lovely lively
tree and its free
bright green and yellow
leaves to my great sorrow
has turned to dull copper
without its soft luster
my careless and pretty
Helen of the short sultry
summer has shrivelled into old
Hecuba in the long cold
winter of a very
ancient story
by E A S T

Quite an empty verse.
Just playing with words to amuse you.
I have become tongue-tied for a while.
